With the third installment of the “Avatar” saga just around the corner, this list takes a fresh look at returning cast members and introduces the new faces joining “Avatar: Fire and Ash.” Be warned, here are spoilers from the first two movies ahead.
CCH Pounder – Mo’at

The Omatikaya tsahìk is Neytiri’s mother and the clan’s spiritual compass, guiding the Sullys through rites and crisis. She also plays a key role in Jake’s permanent transfer.
Britain Dalton – Lo’ak

Jake and Neytiri’s second son wrestles with feeling like an outsider, but proves brave and resourceful in the seas of Pandora. He becomes pivotal to the family’s survival.
Wes Studi – Eytukan

Neytiri’s father and Omatikaya clan chief in the first film, Eytukan embodies the tribe’s authority and loss during the fall of Hometree.
Kate Winslet – Ronal

Metkayina matriarch and legendary free-diver whose ferocity matches her skill. Winslet trained to hold her breath for over seven minutes for the role.
Joel David Moore – Norm Spellman

A scientist who operates an avatar body and later remains on Pandora among the allies of the Na’vi. He bridges human science and Na’vi culture more than most.
Filip Geljo – Aonung

Tonowari and Ronal’s son is a young Metkayina hunter and free-diver. He learns, sometimes the hard way, what family means beyond his reef.
Stephen Lang – Miles Quaritch

Resurrected in a Recombinant Na’vi body, Quaritch is bigger, bluer, and still hunting the Sullys, and he’s back in “Fire and Ash.”
Bailey Bass – Tsireya

A cool Metkayina free-diver (and Tsakarem in training), Tsireya guides the Sully kids through way-of-water life with patience to spare.
Laz Alonso – Tsu’tey

The Omatikaya’s finest warrior and heir to leadership, he fights alongside Jake in the Battle of the Hallelujah Mountains. His arc underlines the cost of resistance.
Trinity Jo-Li Bliss – Tuktirey (“Tuk”)

The Sullys’ youngest is fearless and curious, often the heartbeat in the family’s toughest moments. Small size, big spirit.
Oona Chaplin – Varang

Leader of the Ash People, a fire-scarred Na’vi clan introduced in “Fire and Ash.” The trailer frames her as a “hero of her people” whose path collides with Jake and Neytiri.
Duane Evans Jr. – Rotxo

A Metkayina free-diver who grows from teasing to teamwork with the Sully kids. When trouble hits the reef, he shows up.
Sam Worthington – Jake Sully

The former Marine becomes Omatikaya olo’eyktan and ultimately transfers to his avatar permanently. In the sequels, he’s a father first and a fighter by necessity.
Matt Gerald – Lyle Wainfleet

Brought back as a Recombinant under Quaritch, Wainfleet returns in a Na’vi body with SecOps muscle and a mean streak.
Cliff Curtis – Tonowari

Chief of the Metkayina, Tonowari embodies hospitality and hard choices, asking the Sullys to learn and to fight when the sea calls.
Zoe Saldaña – Neytiri

Omatikaya warrior, mother, and the saga’s raw nerve. Her choices steer not just a family, but the future of multiple clans.
David Thewlis – Peylak

A new Na’vi leader in “Fire and Ash”: head of the nomadic Wind Traders, an air-traveling clan that adds a whole new dimension to Pandora.
Sigourney Weaver – Dr. Grace Augustine

Head of the Avatar Program who also pilots her own avatar body. Grace’s legacy, scientific and spiritual echoes through every sequel.
Jamie Flatters – Neteyam

The Sullys’ eldest son and model heir; his fate weighs heavily on the family and sets the emotional stakes for the next chapter.
Sigourney Weaver – Kiri

Weaver’s surprise turn as an adopted Na’vi teenager, born from Grace’s avatar, becomes the mystical soul of “The Way of Water” and a lynchpin for where the story flows next. The Cameron-Weaver duo cannot be broken
